ALmost every teenage girl i have ever met is in "love" with the current heartthrob of the time. WHY??? you ask. funny, i'm a girl, and i tell you ME TOO! i really want to know why the hormones of the teenage girl go crazy when they see a movie/photo/CD cover with their favorite heartthrob on it. I have this same problem along with these girls. i wonder if someone could drug me up to make it go away. i am so tired of Ooooohhing and Ahhhhhhhing over the perfect and handsome male form. true it is very nice and a fun pastime but it is not something i choose to do. i could try ignoring the pretty faces of Hollywoods actors but I CAN'T!!!! is there something wrong with me i ask? probably, but not with this topic. why can i not tear my eyes away from Orlando Bloom's handsome face? i aspire to be an actor myself but still i succome to the pleasures that come from seeing the human flesh. Did God make us this way? or is there just something wrong with my generation and the few generations before mine. Did the women of the 15th, 16th, and 17th centuries crave the handsome faces of their Kings, Princes, and Dukes all the way down to their lowliest peasant? is it that the women now are more independent and can now express their views without fear of punishment that they express them with longing for the men that we idolize in pictures and movies? Maybe i'm nuts. Maybe i should just be carried along in the wave of material lust and fruitless longing for someone i can never have. anybody with comments please feel free to write in. maybe then my senseless scribblings will make more sense to me and others.

I have been recently visiting a message board about the "World Idol" competition. I was trying to gauge who people around the world would expect to win. Unfortuantely, that message board is FULL of people who have some sort of "irrational" attachment to certain "talents" in the competition. Frankly, I found it quite frightening.

Nonetheless, I had a crush on Liz Phair for a while when I was in college. Her recent comeback and repackaging have reminded me of that. -Trust me though: this will be the only place on the internet where I will bother readers with that information.
